Today I am sharing 3 fabulous layouts by Melanie Blackburn created with our fun December 2013 Hip Kit & Add-On Kits.  She includes lots of layering on her layouts which gives them great texture.  I love all of the tiny details that she adds to her projects, many of them are so simple but they add that perfect finishing touch.  Notice how she punched snowflakes out of vellum and used them to embellish her page.  She also used the vellum scrap  with the snowflake cut-outs as a layer behind her photo…  What a great idea!

I love the Print Shop Journaling Cards and Freckled Fawn pink striped washi tape included in our December 2013 Color Add-On Kit.  So sweet!

The Studio Calico Print Shop “xoxo” transparent die cut is a great addition to this layout.  Also, the Amy Tangerine Cut & Paste Chipboard Accents have lots of awesome bits and pieces – Mel included the “remember” from this package to create her title.  LOVE!!!

The Amy Tangerine Cut & Paste Chipboard Shapes from our December Color Add-On Kit, have so many possibilities.  They can be painted, heat embossed with embossing powder, you can stamp on them and the list goes on and on.  Mel used several of these shapes on this layout.  The really give a lot of texture, dimension and interest to her page.  So cute!
