Sweet thing | Anna Komenda

Hi everyone. It’s Anna here with my last (I think so, because my August kits are almost here) inspiration with July kits. The layout I am going to show you today is a perfect project to use up the rest of your kits – paper scraps, stickers. You just simply pick the shape like hearts, banners, start, circles and create banners with them. Just like me šŸ™‚

Main kits are always filled with fantastic selection of colorful pattern papers and it’s so easy to just pick the scraps and arrange them into the design. You can also mix them with colorful cardstock pieces for even more colors. Purchasing a Cardstock Kit is always a good idea and it helps to spread the kit possibilities.

I picked this funny picture of my daughter taken with a special App. She got fun, strawberry glasses and I anted to keep the page funny, girly and whimsical. I used die cuts to cut dozen of hearts and I arranged them into the banners. I also added a picture as a part of one banner. I sew it all with a sewing machine but you can use hand stitch instead (unless you are lazy like me then use machine šŸ™‚ )

How cute are those Thickers from Project Life Kit??? They match perfectly to my page. I also used a lot of small embellishments like exclusive wood veneers from Main Kit, Amy Tangerine’s “On a whim” transparent stickers from Project Life Kit and exclusive chipboard stickers from Embellishment Kit.

I mixed many motiffs like hearts, flowers, melting ice creams but the all match this sweet girl on the picture. She is all rainbows, unicorns, dragons and Pokemons šŸ˜€

I used white cardstock as a base of my page but I added some splashes to make it look more fun. I used pink and orange mist from Color Kit.

I also have a process video for you.

I hope you feel inspired to use all those paper scraps from your kits.

Thank you for stopping by. XO Anna
